Lolo and Lola Visit!!!

On February 15th the girls were delighted to show Lolo and Lola (grandpa and grandma)beautiful Abaco. We picked them up at Marsh Harbour and then proceeded to Elbow Cay. The girls had consecutive sleepovers at the Hope Town Harbour Lodge while Doug and I could act like newlyweds if we wanted to. Interesting concept.

We enjoyed a lovely day at the Man-O-War festival-proceeds to benefit the local school. It was the first of a string of glorious weather!!! (ie sunny with relatively lighter winds in 10knot range) Transportation was provided by Froggies Outisland Adventures and we met many of our friends from Boat Harbour (Wilsons on Gypsy Common, Viteks from Lazy Bones, Millers-from Full Time, Rod and Lisa from Lucky Peek-to name a few. Nice gathering.

On the 19th we snorkeled Sandy Cay again. The girls beach combed and found monster "LW" shells. The whole island was like a conch shell graveyard. Sorry no pictures-forgot it on the boat. Later that evening we celebrated Lexie's 9th birthday one day early at the Abaco Inn. Lexie enjoyed for the first time 'surf and turf' and she enjoyed every bit and ate every bit of that $40 meal!!!

Good things come to an end. We dropped off Lolo and Lola on the 20th back to Boat Harbour.

Later that day we had a wonderful cocktail party/b-day party for Lexie's 9th compliments of Elinor and Brant. They brought over banana Dacqueries and Keebler chocolate grasshopper cookies and popcorn. We had a wonderful sunset that was abruptly interrupted by Lindsay peeing all over the dock onto the cookies. Brant's apra peau remark was " At least she's not a party pooper!"

Our day trip to Tahiti Beach

Cute conch I just had to photograph-of course was released!!
