Afternoon at Manjack Cay

After following the dolphins, we explored a largely uninhabited cay called Manjack Cay. We found a really pretty cove with beautiful beach. As it turns out, there is a house up on the bluff there built by two homesteaders nearly fourteen years ago. Bill and Leslie were very hospitably and took us for a ride in their boat and Quadtrac and set up a big water slide off of their dock. As we were snorkeling along the shallow beach we came across a stingray hanging out in the sand. We watched him for a while and walked along the beach as he swam along and resettled into the sand. After a few water slides, we headed back out to Tide Pool and made our way back to Green Turtle - our temporary home. Per Soque's request here is a photo of us kayaking into the beach. Baby, snorkel gear, Lex and Dad. Mom and Jill were on the other kayak. On the way back from the beach we added Bentley to the green kayak - and made it all the way back without a spill!! Thankfully, Lindsay didn't budge.
